Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

1. Eligibility and Customer Information

If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you may use our website and place an order only with the involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise interacting with us.

  • Provide false or misleading contact or delivery information; or

  • Use our website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

3. Product Information and Product Images

We make reasonable efforts to display and describe our products accurately.

However, customers acknowledge that slight variations may occur because of:

  • Photography and lighting conditions;

  • Individual device and screen settings;

  • Colour calibration and display differences;

  • Natural characteristics of handwoven or handcrafted products;

  • Fabric texture and weave variations;

  • Natural slubs or irregularities;

  • Zari, thread or dye variations;

  • Motif, border or pallu placement differences;

  • Variations in handcrafted finishing.

Measurements and dimensions are approximate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Product images may include styling accessories, jewellery, blouses, petticoats, footwear, props, or other items for presentation purposes. Unless specifically stated in the product description or order confirmation, such items are not included with the product.

Natural characteristics and minor variations inherent in handcrafted or traditional textiles do not automatically constitute a manufacturing defect.

However, this does not affect your rights where a product is materially different from its description, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise subject to a mandatory legal remedy.

4. Customisation, Alterations and Finishing

Certain products or services may include:

  • Blouse stitching or tailoring;

  • Fall and pico;

  • Tasselling;

  • Pre-pleating;

  • Alterations;

  • Custom finishing;

  • Extra or cut-to-length fabric;

  • Personalised or made-to-order work.

You are responsible for providing accurate measurements, design choices, instructions, and other information required to complete customised work.

Once custom work, tailoring, alteration, finishing, or fabric cutting has begun:

  • Cancellation may no longer be possible;

  • Changes or modifications may result in additional charges or processing time;

  • The product may not be eligible for voluntary return or exchange.

This does not remove any applicable remedy for verified defective workmanship, failure to follow accepted instructions, damage, incorrect supply, or other rights required by applicable law.

5. Prices, Taxes and Promotions

Product prices are those displayed at checkout at the time you submit your order.

Unless otherwise stated, prices and charges may be subject to:

  • Applicable taxes;

  • Shipping charges;

  • Customs duties or import taxes for international orders;

  • Currency conversion differences;

  • Charges or fees imposed by banks or payment providers.

Promotions, discount codes, coupons, gifts, free-shipping offers, and other promotional benefits are subject to their stated terms, eligibility requirements, dates, exclusions, stock availability, and redemption limits.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Offers cannot be combined;

  • Offers cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • Discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively after an order is completed.

If an obvious pricing or product-description error occurs, we may contact you before dispatch to correct the error or cancel the affected order and refund any applicable amount already paid.

We will not substitute a product or increase the agreed price without your consent.

6. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.

An automated order confirmation or acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

  • Damaged or incorrect stock information;

If we cancel an order after payment has been successfully received, we will refund the applicable amount in accordance with our Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

We may contact you to verify unusually large orders or orders where additional verification is reasonably required.

7. Payments

Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout.

Depending on the services available, payment methods may include:

  • Credit or debit cards;

  • UPI;

  • Net banking;

  • Digital wallets;

  • Cash on Delivery, where available;

  • Payment gateways or other authorised payment methods.

Payments may be processed through Shopify, Razorpay, or other payment service providers available at checkout.

Payment providers may:

  • Conduct fraud or security checks;

  • Apply their own terms and conditions; or

  • Decline or reverse a transaction in accordance with their policies.

You authorise us and the selected payment provider to process the amounts displayed at checkout.

We do not intentionally store complete card numbers, CVV numbers, PINs, OTPs, or other sensitive payment credentials on our own systems.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping methods, delivery availability, shipping charges, estimated delivery timelines, tracking, customs treatment, failed delivery, refused shipments, and other shipping matters are governed by our Shipping Policy.

Shipping charges and available delivery options may vary depending on:

  • Delivery location;

  • PIN/postal code;

  • Product availability;

  • Order value;

  • Package weight or dimensions;

  • Selected courier service.

Delivery timelines are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

For international orders, customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other destination-country charges where these are not included at checkout.

9. Returns, Exchanges, Refunds and Cancellations

Our Returns, Exchange, Refunds & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms.

Srivaraha Traditions does not generally provide an unconditional change-of-mind return period.

Returns, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations are subject to the conditions stated in our applicable policy.

In particular, customised, stitched, altered, finished, personalised, cut-to-length, or otherwise modified products may not be eligible for voluntary cancellation, return, or exchange once work has begun or the product has been modified.

Verified damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrectly supplied products will be reviewed and handled in accordance with our policy and applicable law.

Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.

10. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery ("COD") may be available only for eligible products, order values, and delivery locations.

We reserve the right to restrict or disable COD for particular orders or customers where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, operational reasons, or where there is a history of repeated refusal or non-acceptance of COD shipments.

Customers who repeatedly refuse or fail to accept COD orders may become ineligible for future COD purchases.

11. Reviews, Feedback and Customer Content

If you submit a review, photograph, video, testimonial, comment, feedback, or other content to us, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have the necessary permission to submit it;

  • The content reflects your genuine experience or opinion;

Where permitted by applicable law, you grant Srivaraha Traditions a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, publish, adapt for formatting purposes, and share such content for operating, improving, and promoting our business.

We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary, but we are not required to review every submission.

is owned by or licensed to Srivaraha Traditions and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
